On April 3 in Prague, (Czech Republic), GM held its annual supplier of the year awards for 2003. Our President, Mr. Shinji Yazaki, along with the Presidents of YNA, Mr. George Perry and the GM Global Business Unit (GMBU) Mr. Riku Yazaki represented Yazaki at these awards.
These awards recognize the outstanding achievements in Quality, Cost, Technology, Service and Delivery from General Motor suppliers worldwide. Yazaki was this year honoured along with 77 other suppliers from 32 countries.
Yazaki was solely recognised and honoured for outstanding achievement in its field of expertise. (Electrical and Electronic Display Systems)
Australian Arrow contributed greatly to this award, as Australian Arrow was itself nominated for these awards by GM Holden for outstanding contribution in Australia. Its nomination for these awards was also recognised within Yazaki.
These awards are a testament to Yazaki's long-term vision and commitment with GM globally and are considered as prized awards within the worldwide automotive industry.
As associates of Australian Arrow, we should all feel proud of our contribution to these awards and to our contribution to Yazaki globally.
Well done to all associates and let us keep our strong customer focus and commitment.
