AAPL wins the Banskia Sustainability Award and Gold Banksia Award

Australian Arrow Pty. Ltd. (AAPL), is pleased to announce that at a Gala event held at Melbourne Park attended by over 600 people on Saturday July 22nd, 2006, it was awarded the much coveted Gold Banksia Environmental Award against a field of 11 category winners and the Sustainability Award for minimizing the environmental footprint.

The Banksia Environmental Foundation Awards are sponsored by the Australian and State governments, as well as many industry sponsors who, like Australian Arrow, are keen to develop awareness and focus on the environmental issues facing Australia and its businesses now and into the future.

The Banksia Awards are the most prominent and prestigious Environmental Awards in Australia and AAPL is pleased to have been honoured for its contribution to the environment.

The 2006 Gold Banksia Environmental Award

In accepting the awards, the Managing Director of Australian Arrow, Mr. Kan Ito was pleased to recognize the continued focus that the company and its parent, the Yazaki Corporation had made to marry its corporate responsibility with respect for the environment.

He also thanked his management, the Enviro-Reps and the support of all associates here in Australia as well as the many activities undertaken at its Samoan affiliate.
