On Friday, May 26, 2006 AAPL won the Keep Australia Beautiful Victoria - Sustainable Cities Award for Environmental Innovation.

The awards ceremony was held at Telstra Dome in the Victory Room with approximately 350 attendees.

This award carries the well recognised brand "Keep Australia Beautiful."

For the Keep Australia Beautiful Award, a judge conducted a site visit of AAPL's facility at 65 Lathams Rd., Carrum Downs, Victoria where a presentation was given highlighting our environmental initiatives and achievements.

The title of our submission was "Visualising our Environmental Footprint." There was a lot of interest in our submission as very few manufacturers were represented, as well as AAPL having dozens of various environmental initiatives in place, excellent environmental awareness and corporate culture.
