From September 2-10, 2004, AAPL's and YES's (Yazaki EDS Samoa) core processes and systems were audited against the ISO/ TS16949 International Automotive Quality Systems Standard.

The new TS16949 standard has a real focus on adding value and providing a solid framework for continual improvement, emphasis on defect prevention and reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain.

This is a great achievement for both AAPL and YES after approximately twelve (12) months of preparation in upgrading our systems from QS9000 to meet the additional requirements of TS16949.
